In about 13 years, you will be beating the boys away with a stick. :)

It is not evolution, but the destructive effect of UV radiation that
are at work in Arizona.

Most Arizonians start out almost as cute as lovely Miss. Thompson, but
their proximity to the sun takes a terrible toll. Don't believe me?
Look at this five year old photo of our own Mr. Thompson that my
Internet sleuthing turned up.
http://www.theliquidimage.com/samplpages/sports/images/malebody.jpg
Sure, he's showing some signs of his age, but he's holding up fairly
well, don't you think? Now look at him:
http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2001/05/images/020925_crist.jpg

Sun screen is so important!

Cordially,
Richard Kanarek

P.S. The story that goes with the second picture can be found at:
http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2002/09/0926_020926_oldestworker.html
I guess "Thompson" is Dr. Crist's internet nom de plume.

Delightful as the picture is, I still think you should not put pictures
of children on the net, in case the faces are appropriated by
paedophiles to disguise their victims.

Big deal. There are millions of (normal) pictures of children on the
net. One more won't upset the paedophiles community.

But IMHO, there should not be. You can e-mail your kidpix to your
friends, or, if you must, put them on an UNLINKED page on your web site
and e-mail the URL to your friends.

One more won't upset the paedophiles community.
No, but if that 'one more' happens to be the one that's appropriated,
the family of the victim may be significantly 'upset', even at just the
thought of the possibility.

I saw an advertisement today, part of the message was that the chance
you own a St.Bernhard that gives birth to seven puppies next week, which you
all want to keep, is even bigger ;)

Quite right. The features in these apocryphal photos of ol' Jim lack
the simian charteristics of the real thing.

Bah. You're all over the web!

You build abstract furniture:

A house (and silk company) in Thailand:

Before that, you used to write pulp fiction crime novels:

And I can't leave you without reminding you of your talk-radio past:

I would reserve 'ugly' for those unfortunate enough to have a
pathological condition that produces an immediate, unavoidable frisson
on seeing them. And I would never use that word, even in that context,
anyway.
