A tax-free holiday weekend starts today, in
Massachusetts (our sales tax is 6.25%). But
my wife and I can't think of anything to buy!

Good suggestion Jan, I love apple pie! BTW, we
don't have sales tax on food or clothing in MA.

I am sure there is absolutely no tax on tea either, as it is in PA.

You save the most by not buying anything.

Indeed. If you mention that to retailers, typically
they look confused and uncomprehending.

The related sleight of hand is that
"credit cards" are actually "debt cards"
(not debit cards, which are different).

Pick me up a case of Bud. (NOT BUD LIGHT DAMMIT)

That rate is about a point lower than ours and I find it hard to believe it is so low where Romney wrecked the economy not so long ago. Sure he did what he said, but... I think the guy is a closet democrat.
