Rubbish. If the molecules involved have structural features that let them bond weakly so they tended to stick together to some extent when they did come in contact, they will stay in contact for longer. There\'s nothing conscious about it.

reproduced when a cell divides. That gets crazy complex too.

Mitochondria have their own DNA (not a lot), and we get ours from the egg, not the sperm. It is routinely sequenced.

Everything else is fixed by the regular diploid DNA, so there\'s not a lot of complication there - more than John Larkin can get his head around, but not a lot.
