the Volt for 5 weeks because the GM Volt isn't selling too well.

Yes, another great 'job creating' market 'success' for the Obama
administration.

Anyone else notice a pattern?

If I were an investor I'd run like hell from anything Pres Obama or VP
Biden showed up at because neither couldn't pick the winner of a one
horse race.

$400 million to 20 cities for "charging stations," just for starters.

a million electric vehicles on the road by 2015."

Don't tell me he 'has no say," 'electric vehicles' is not only his
stated goal but on multiple occasions he's stuck a feather in his hat
and called it Chevy Volt. And the last time was a couple of days ago
just before they announced the temporarily closing and layoffs due to
sales way below "expectations."

The DOE "One Million Electric Vehicles By 2015, February 2011 Status
Report" (oh gee, he has 'no say') projected 120,000 Chevy Volts for
2012.

A year later GM claims their 'revised target' is 45,000 and they
temporarily closed the plant because that's hopeless, they still need
to find some way to sell the ones already overbuilt from last year,

I got news, someone else paying the cost doesn't "make it affordable."
It just means you're stealing part of the cost from someone else.

But we don't 'really' need electric cars anyway. According to our Dear

"that we can grow right here in America." Well, who'd a thunk it?

Btw, we've already spent billions researching 'algae' for energy
production going back to another nutty President, Jimmy Carter, who
started the DOE "Aquatic Species Program" in 1978. Remember the Arab
Oil embargo and 'shortages'? Government came to the rescue and 'saved'
us with things like algae research, no need to 'drill', except it's
not economically feasible. Let's see, counting, counting, uh, that
comes to 34 years. Oh well, Obama can solve that with another
'speech'.
