BlankHi,

A bit off topic but does anyone have a good web address for a supplier in
Australia
for small mech screws, nuts, washers, rods, etc. I have a number of good US
addresses (e.g www.mcmaster.com) but nothing local.

I'm after relatively small quantities (100's -> 1000's) of these types of
parts, but most of the local sites I can find have a small selection or are
only interested if I want to order huge quantities.

Any suggestions welcome.

No web address, but if you're in SE Qld, there is the "nut and bolt factory"
in Beenliegh which will sell you singles in anything, and goes up from
there. I've been bugging them for years with wierd requests and their
cutsomer service to hobbyists is the same as with their "power buying"
customers.

G'day Linas.

Not really general fastening hardware but you might find some
useful stuff at <http://www.howardsilvers.com.au>. They mostly
do cabinetware though.
