I found this web site with info on how to view comet Tempel 1 when we
carry out our unprovoked attack on July 4th:
http://deepimpact.umd.edu/home/index.html

On a related topic: Does anyone care to guess how long will it be before
the aliens retaliate?

I think you left the stove on.

The aliens already did a preemptive retaliatory strike. They got Bush
re-elected.

Comets have been attacking us for billions of years. It's about time
we taught them a lesson.

Hello Paul,

What if the owner of the comet files a lawsuit? Did NASA take out the
collision damage waiver option?

But did the collision happen in Kalifornia? Was either vehicle registered
in the people's republic of KA?

The People's Republic is CT, where they can take your land and give it
to another private citizen, as long as the new owner promises higher
tax revenues. Fortunately AZ and a few (8 I think) other states have
restrictions in their state constitutions that prevent this.

Of course, here in AZ, we'd simply shoot the some-bitch politicians
who even attempted such a land grab.

(A few years ago, Mesa, AZ, tried to take the Bailey Brake Shop in
such a scheme. The Center for Law in the Public Interest beat them in
court, and the legislature followed up with a new law to prevent
further such shenanigans.)

I just heard on the news that a woman has filed a $300M lawsuit against NASA
claiming that the collision to the comet has disrupted her horoscope.

We did come from apes.

What courthouse in the USA was open on July 4th to file the lawsuit in?

I beg to differ. They were the ones that passed the SCotUS muster, but
they are cartainly *not* the only place such bullshit goes on.

Lucky you. I plan on moving to such a citizen-friendly place as soon as
possible. I'm told by my boss that I have another year in purgatory thogh.

Of course, here in AZ, we'd simply shoot the some-bitch politicians who

Works for me. I'd prefer somthign a little more elegant, parhaps a
congress-critter lynching, just to convey the seriousness of the issue.

Be careful. The entire populatoin of CT may be in your back yard!

Turns out she started her legal actions in Russia, and did so before the
impact.

Just come back from Corsica - you can't _get_ CDW there.
Having seen the locals driving, I'm not surprised....
