The evidence is in- and expertly articulated by John Edwards during last
night's debate. Cheney as CEO of Halliburton lobbied Congress to lift
sanctions against American companies doing certain forms of business
with Iran and Libya- then Cheney expedited the evasion of US law with
the creation of mock paper subsidiaries of Halliburton so that this
company could profit by providing increased oil production capacity to
Iran. This increased Iranian capacity has generated BILLIONS of $ in
revenue for that nation- most of which is employed for weapons
development and terrorist financing- and most importantly- that money is
NOW being used to finance and provide weapons to the insurgents in Iraq
today- support that is killing American troops now. And Cheney has the
audacity to say Saddam was so evil on the basis of an inflated myth that
he, at one time, rewarded families of suicide bombers with a 25 k$ cash
award. This seems rather minuscule compared to the enormity of material
aid and assistance Cheney has 'enable' for global terrorism and sworn
enemies of the US. In any other day and time- Richard Cheney would
appear on the Interpol list of MOST WANTED terrorists- but there is no
end to the corruption in the Bush administration.
