OT: Cheney Helps Finance War on Terror

The evidence is in- and expertly articulated by John Edwards during last
night's debate. Cheney as CEO of Halliburton lobbied Congress to lift
sanctions against American companies doing certain forms of business
with Iran and Libya- then Cheney expedited the evasion of US law with
the creation of mock paper subsidiaries of Halliburton so that this
company could profit by providing increased oil production capacity to
Iran. This increased Iranian capacity has generated BILLIONS of $ in
revenue for that nation- most of which is employed for weapons
development and terrorist financing- and most importantly- that money is
NOW being used to finance and provide weapons to the insurgents in Iraq
today- support that is killing American troops now. And Cheney has the
audacity to say Saddam was so evil on the basis of an inflated myth that
he, at one time, rewarded families of suicide bombers with a 25 k$ cash
award. This seems rather minuscule compared to the enormity of material
aid and assistance Cheney has 'enable' for global terrorism and sworn
enemies of the US. In any other day and time- Richard Cheney would
appear on the Interpol list of MOST WANTED terrorists- but there is no
end to the corruption in the Bush administration.

Did you notice that Edwards had his southern accent cranked up to max?
He varies it at will, depending on the audience. I swear he was
deliberately mimicking Bill Clinton's singular accent any number of
times.
Sounded more like Carter to me.

The "Libya" claim is false (it happened before Cheney was with the
company).
Please read with more care. My sentence above was that Cheney lobbied to
have certain sanctions against Libya lifted- and this is true. I did not
state anything about specific Halliburton business with Libya.

The others are true. See www.factcheck.org (NOT .com. That was
one of Darth's ironic errors last night. the .com site is owned and run
by Soros, who is more liberal than Franken.)
Again- factcheck.com was some kind of service site in the Cayman Islands
that took it upon themselves to *redirect* all the hits to the Soros
site- georgesoros.com I believe- factcheck.com said they were making a
statement:)

Oddly, factcheck seems to be swamped today. I guess that's a good thing.

http://www.factcheck.org/article.aspx?docID=272
Factcheck.org is the Annenberg policy studies institute of U of
Pennsylvania- very prestigious. I think it's funny that when I linked a
previous post to that site which refuted most of Zell Miller's
convention speech as adulterated slander- the mentally deranged Tom
Seim, GogerGT/Clarence, JDurban/product developer- immediately all shot
back with their "LIES!" reflex- and here their *main man* Cheney takes
recourse to the same site. All of these people are a bunch of weakling
fairies- they can't handle the tough stuff so in typical usenet fashion
they try to be funny, clever, smarty-warty with tee-hee-hee one-liners-
sniggly-giggly girlies.

What did you mean by that? Typo? How do you reduce something by more
than 100%?

1/5 or 'to' 20% of previous.

I suppose that error negates your entire summary! BTW,
some of what you wrote seems new, or I hadn't seen it
anyway, could you post links to reference material?

Sorry, I know that's a question that takes 5 seconds to
ask, but could require 5 hours to properly answer.

Undisputed by whom? The 9/11 commission? President Bush, who admits
there were no WMD? The hordes of inspectors that have been combing the
country for 18 months, and who have all reported no joy?

You've been getting your news from drug addicts again (Rush Limbaugh).
