Does everybody realize that that's approximately
0.0 ......

Holy Crap! I did a quick google on "Federal Budget" and came up with this:
http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/budget/fy2005/05msr.pdf

On page 15, there's a section:

Table 2: ECONOMIC ASSUMPTIONS
(Calendar years; dollar amounts in billions)
#[That's Billions, with a "b". - Rich]
2003 actual
Gross domestic product (GDP):
Current dollars ............... 10,988
[snippity-snip]

Ten. Thousand. Billion. Dollars.

So one BILLION dollars is 0.01% of the Gross Domestic Product.

One is 0.01% of 10,000, isn't it?

OK, I have to admit, that's the whole GDP - I was looking for
expenditures, and could search further, but it's gotta be in the
trillions.

Oh, well, like they say, a billion here, a billion there, and after awhile
you figure out it isn't even real. ;-)

Cheers!
Rich

Artie Shaw just died. He was married and divorced eight times. That's
a real altar ego.

Presumably he died bankrupt, then?

Are you getting lessons from John Woodgate?

martin

Serious error.
All shortcuts have disappeared.
Screen. Mind. Both are blank.

You'd think he would have learned by at least #3 ;-)
Ah hell, I learned before #1 divorce. She's told me many times that I
can't afford her lawyers. ;-)
