ORCAD Layout Ref Des Problem

Hi,
When creating a netlist from the schematic, I am getting a number of
errors saying that certain pins are missing from parts (i.e. the wrong
footprint is being associated with the schematic symbol). However, when I
manually change the reference designator in the schematic to some arbitrary
number, the netlist process works with no problems. If I then annotate the
schematic by placing the '?' symbol for each ref designator..and then
reassigning numbers automatically..I get the same netlist error problem (at
least until I again manually change certain reference designators for the
parts in error). Any reason why a schematic part would be reading the wrong
layout footprint even though it's entered correctly? Thanks.

If the part in the schematic is a OpAmp it might not have
the power pins and ground pins displayed.

Whats the schematic symbol .. ????

Paul.
