Okay,
I think I've seen this posted before, but here it goes. I have
an old TV set with one COAX in, no video in or S-Video, composite,
etc. I'd like to modify the TV to allow for video input (the reason
being this). I have an antenna and I run it to the VCR and then to
the TV. Problem is, I am effectively using two RF tuners (the VCR and
TV on channel 3) and I feel that this is partially killing my signal
strength. I would like to run the VCR's video out directly to the TV
so I don't need the TV's RF tuner to decode the signal. Furthermore,
if the modification works, I'd like to run the DVD player directly
into the TV as well (getting rid of that nasty f___'d up macrovision
picture). Any suggestions? My theory is that the outs from the RF
tuner can (inside the TV) are the same as the video out from the
VCR...right? The TV is an RCA X20162GS (made circa 1990). I know, I
could buy a new TV with video ins but 1) I am too cheap
2) I'd like to learn more about this kind of stuff
