OLD school "electricity", Leyden jar

Guest
I recently "discovered" leyden jars (from Adam Savage from the
Mythbusters) and I became very interested, i have built and few and
found some sites:http://home.earthlink.net/~lenyr/, is a good one. I
was wondering if anyone knows of any other type things like this;
building static generators, leyden jars...etc. if anyone has any links
as to building some "stuff" like this or anyting close, preferably from
home materials, it would be GREAT.

also stuff like on that page: air cannons, potato guns, just fun
sciencey stuff.

Like a Van De Graff Generator? Etc, Eh. Check out Edmund Scientific, I
think they are still around, or Jamesco.

These guys are totally into HV mostly Tesla coils but I'm sure if you
posted your question there they would have a ton of URLs.
