Old HMV TV

The old HMV that my son uses for his playstation, Starts rolling all the
time, you give it a slap up the side and it comes good (sometimes). Any
ideas whats wrong.
The TV has the two seperate channel dials 1 for uhf & 1 for vhf, very very
old.

Its into S&M and you are pandering to its vices.

Most likely its either a dry joint or a flakey connector
if its so old its got lots of plug in modules etc.
