Oatley electric bike

Has anyone tried out/own the Oatley Electronics electric bike? (about
$300) I wouldn't mind buying one but cannot get to see what they are
like because of location.

There is a similar Bike reviewed in the current edition of the NRMA
mag.....It is priced over $1400...bit of a price difference?
