Hi All,

How can I add correlated noise sources in my netliest in SpectreRF ?

Dimitri,

In the IC5033 point release due to be released soon, you'll be able to use the
nport component with an s-parameter file which contains correlated noise source
data (in Touchstone or spectre's own format).

If however you want generic sources which are correlated, then that's not
directly possible (there's an enhancement PCR for that though). I believe you
can work around it - here's what R&D described as a workaround:

'It is pretty easy to construct a "correlated noise source" by placing resistors
and controlled sources into a subcircuit. The resistors would be used to create
the independent noise processes, and the controlled sources are used to combine
these noise processes to form the outputs that contain the partially correlated
noise.'

Regards,

Andrew.
