Dear all,
This is the first time I am attempting to perform a noise analysis in CADENCE SPECTRE simulator. I am trying to plot the noise PSD of NMOS device (M1). So I just biased the device by connecting DC voltage sources at the Gate and Drain.
Now, in the Virtuoso Analog Design Environment, after choosing the 'noise' analysis, I entered the following inputs:
Output Noise:
probe Output Probe Instance: /M1
Input Noise:
none
After running the simulation, when I am trying to plot the 'Output Squared Noise' from the 'direct plot' option under 'result' section, the plot I am getting is a flat response with zero magnitude (1Hz-1GHz).
Could somebody please help me to do the right thing in order to have proper response?
regards
Sam
