No new messages ?

For some time now OE5 reports no new messages, headers or even messages for
this group. I've tried unsubscribing and resubscribing, what else can I do ?

It's probably your news server that's not updating their contents...

check the settings very carefully - or call your ISP for assistance
too.

If your ISP has a shitty news service - then you might have to
subscribe to a news service such as newsguy etc etc.

Also try a good newsreader like free agent - or agent if you want to
pay for it. Its worth the money in my experience.

For when my bigpond server has an occasional message reset.

OE6: Tools - Options.... Maintenance - Clean Up Now.... - Reset

Do catch up if you don't want to download _all_ the old messages.

Thanks for all the replies.
I posted to the group and received some email replies confirming I had a
server problem. It was strange that other groups were fine.

I've reset everything (what a pain) and am back in business.

Didn't think of catch up. Next time. Thanks Greg.
