Nikko Receiver - everything works but tuner

This is a frustrating problem - I really wish I had the schematics for
this unit. All functions of the receiver work (I can get audio through
all other inputs), except there is no tuning, or output from the
tuner. All switches and pots check OK and have been cleaned. Has
anybody encountered this problem in older receivers? The Model no. is
6065 - if somebody has access to a schematic, or knows what might be
happening here, please let me know. Thanks! - Tim

One of the first and simpler things you should be able to verify WITHOUT a
schematic is if the tuner section is getting B+ to various parts of it's
circuitry ..... an open resistor, shorted electrolytic, shorted zener, bad
solder connection, etc, etc..... could be the culprit.
