Newbie - Scart question

I have a TV and a VCR, and both these units only have 1 scart socket.
I now want to buy a DVD player.

As it stands, I think I may have a problem, as I don't see how I can
keep my TV and VCR connected up together, and also incorporate the DVD
player in to my system.

Is there a solution to my dilemna, apart from upgrade either the TV or
VCR?
TIA,
-dnw.

Yes. Muliti socket adapters are available. Buy one.

Use the RF out from the VCR. As soon as you get a DVD player you'll
realise VHS sucks for quality anyway (if you hadn't noticed already),
so you won't mind the marginally worse picture. If it's S-VHS then you
might want to go for a SCART switch box, I believe you can get
automatic ones so you don't have to grovel behind the TV when you want
to switch.
