hi,
i need some help in understanding how to power electronic devices
using batteries instead of a DC/AC adapter and making sure i pick the
right battery so i don't damage the device (eg, a 12v CCTV camera)
so i have a 12v CCTV camera with a DC adapter to power it via the
mains wall outlet, but i want to power the camera using a battery,
what do i have to consider when looking for a battery?
will any 12v battery be ok? please bear in mind i don't know much
about electrical terms, except voltage maybe, so some in-depth
explanation would be appreciated
cheers,
james
