Hi All,
I would like to share a new resource for the SECS/GEM connectivity
driver (SecsToTool.Net) built 100% in .NET. You can download the free
and fully functional evaluation copy at http://www.insphere.com.sg
At a glance features highlight:
- High-level Host SECS/GEM driver built on .NET framework ready for
immediate use
- Fully Object Oriented Model
- Simple equipment configuration in XML file using SecsToTool Model
Builder
- Download/upload > 3MB recipes or process program
- Every Id such as SVID, DVID, ECID, RPTID, CEID, ALID are all
represented with logical name so that you do not need to hardcode them
in your code and hence provide a commonality for all the equipment
- SECS II messages are represented in a composite data item component
- Asynchronous event handling of the Primary and Secondary message sent
by equipment
- Built in log file for the SML and low level SECS/GEM message header
and content
- Fully .NET compliant.
- Reusable and Extensible for used in your Equipment Manager
implementation
- Implements SEMI E5 (SECS-II), E30 (GEM) and E37 (HSMS-SS Driver). E4
(SECS-I RS232) will be supported upon requested
The next major release SecsToTool.Net 2.0 in Q1 2006, will cover more
functionalities and powerful features. Please check out our website for
the complete roadmap at http://www.insphere.com.sg
