I was at the TI website this morning and saw the following post about
Tina-TI.
http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/tina-ti.html
=======================================================TINA-TI⢠Version 7.0 will be released shortly. Keep an eye on this
page for the new version 7.0 that has changes from Version 6.0 in the
following areas:
TINA-TI provides support for switching power supply devices.
TINA-TI has no limit to circuit size.
TINA-TI has more SPICE models and example circuits included.
User will be notified when a update is available for the tool and TI
model library.
TINA-TI now supports SMPS simulation capability.
Circuits developed in TINA-TI 7.0 will work with TINA Industrial.
=======================================================
Version 6 was badly crippled with 2 IC and 20 node restriction. This
will be an interesting alternative to LTSpice if it allows user
creation of new parts. I presently use LTSpice and find it very
useful.
