The fan on a couple of removable harddisk drawers had failed, causing the
watchdog circuitry in the drawer to sound the alarm.
I replaced a fan called KD1204PFS2-8, with a KDE1204PFS2-8, the difference
is the "E".
Both models are 40x40x10mm, DC12V, 0.6W, two wires, no tacho.
But the watchdoc circuit still thinks the fan is not running. Why? What can
the "E" mean?
It doesn't appear that the non-E type is available anymore.
