We're launching a new web site for electronics design:

http://www.ElectronicDesignNet.com

The site is just about to launch, and we would be interested in
receiving any (constructive) suggestions or comments.

Thanks much,

The ElectronicDesignNet Team

Looks rather comprehensive.
I tried ferrite cores, and the list was fairly good, but did not
include Allstar Magnetics in Washington.
The list did include the other two top suppliers: Elna Magnetics and
Adams Magnetic Products.
What was puzzling was on clicking on Adams, the page had Frequency
Devices Inc; they do not deal with ferrites or related items.
Right below the Frequency Devices "ad" was the line "Please log in to
view company information" making the user think something was wrong.

I added Allstar Magnetics. Thanks for the tip.

We have the site set up so that users can add new companies. (We check
the submissions before making them public to try to keep spam under
control). We're hoping that people will contribute company listings.
Time will tell. We will also be asking companies to update their own
listings.

I see what you mean about the registration message. We do require
(free) registration to view the company details, but it probably could
be made clearer. Frequency Devices is an advertiser, and has nothing to
do with Adams. I'll see what we can do to make that more obvious.

Thanks for pointing that out. If you have any other comments or
suggestions, we'd love to hear them
