I am looking for a small cheap data transmitter module for integration
inside my box ( or transceiver , most likely FSK ) that would be an
alternation solution for the linxtechnology TR916SCPA, the linx should
be fine but I'd like to compare it with a competitive unit but i can't
locate any ... the linx module costs about $45 at Q25 and since i only
need a transmitter instead of a transceiver it seems like i might be
able to find something cheaper ... but so far no luck, any ideas ? TIA

1) Has to be in the 900MHZ ICM band.
2) Since I will probably only make 25 of these units a year it MUST be
fcc precertified part 15 ( meaning like 5mw ). Means that I must use
an approved antenna that is hard wired or attaches with odd connector
and when the this is used with the vendors transmitter module it is
already fcc certified.
3) It has to be less than $45 at Q25 to make it worth considering ...
this rules out all of the SS modules I have looked at.
