need MTW20N20E MOSFET cross and/or specs

I've got some blown Motorola MTW20N20E power MOSFET's from a power amp (a
Carvin "FET 1000"). Looks like a TO247 package. Need to find equivalents
to replace them with; and I'd like to find out what their specs are so that
I can trust the equivalent. The only cross-reference I've found is to an
IRFP240 but I don't know how close that actually is.

Also, the blown units are all marked "8.8" in pen; clearly they've been
selected to match on some parameter. Any clues as to what parameter? Vgs
at some reference Id, perhaps?

MTW20N20E: 200V, 0.18R@10Vgs. The IRFP240 is a fine replacemant.
