Need info on Sony vcr/camera RFU adapters:
Does anyone know if there are any other RFU adapters that are
compatible with the Sony RFU-80UC? I have a Sony EVO-210 Hi-8 8mm VCR
but no adapter. So I can't connect it to a TV.
The RFU-80UC has a 22- or 24-pin "D" connector on the back that plugs
into some of Sony's older VCRs and, I think, cameras. On the front, it
has audio/video out and RF out connectors. An adapter with either one
(or both) of those outputs would work for me.
I have heard that maybe the RFU-87UC is compatible with units that
used the RFU-80UC. Does anyone know anything about the RFU-87UC?
And, in case I have to make my own adapter, does anyone have the pin
assignments for the multi-pin connector on the RFU-80UC, or know where
I can find them on-line?
Of course, if anyone has an RFU-80UC or compatible adapter that I can
buy (WTB), or knows where I might be able to find one, please contact
me at tomg@fullnet.com .
Thanks!
