Need help with SONY KP-41T65

Hello. I hope some one can help. I have a 41" rear project Sony TV
Model KP-41T65. One day it just decides not to turn on. When you
turn on the power you hear the switch noise in the power supply area
and the standby light is red and blinks. That it nothing else. Im
thinking maybe the power supply. Anyone else familiar with this tv or
have any comments or sugestions? Thanks.

Any of about 30 some odd shutdown circuits are activated.
You need to follow the procedure from Sony and/or standard troubleshooting
techniques with the service manual in hand to find the problem and fix it.

Not a problem for the ill-equipped or minimally experienced person to
attempt. a repair.
