Need help with HP 166x Logic Analyzer

I own a 1661A analyzer with system sw 3.01. Was there a later system
software? The information that I have says that if you were to press
the Right button of the mouse while moving the mouse, then this would
replicate rotating the front panel knob. My unit does not seem to do
this. The mouse that I own is the 2 button 4060A mouse.

If anyone has one of these analyzers, would you please check to see if
this feature works with yours and what software ver that you have.
If anyone has a later ver of the sw, I would appreciate a copy.

One last question. Is the 1660C/CP analyzer sw backwards compatible
with the 1660A series?

In my 1661A with V1.01 and HP46060B the three button mouse emulates

the front wheel by HOLDING the MIDDLE button down and moving
the mouse left/right.

Thanks, that is the information that I was looking for. My problem then
is that my mouse is damaged. The right button seems to have no effect.
I know where to look now.
