Need Help With a Toshiba TN50x81

Hey I have been woring on a Toshiba projection TV Mod# TN50X81.
The set has an intermittent problem of No Turn-on, but the Red LED
flashes. If you unplug it and reset the Micro, then it will turn on. I
have been out there 4 times now, and have yet seen it do it.

I went to Toshibas Web site, but there is nothing listed on this
Model. There must be some kind a Error code display, maybe in the Red
LED Blinking, or a service mode, I don't know I don't have any service
lit for the set.

has anybody any Ideas??, or a way to get error info. or how about a
place to get a service manual for it. Thanks

No error code on that one.
The way to troubleshoot that failure is to pull it into a controlled
environment or wait for it to start failing on a continous basis.

Even with it in the shop it will be imperative to have at a minimum a 4
channel, preferably 8 channel digital storage o'scope, 100mhz, with an event
feature that halts the memory storage after the shutdown event (that way the
memory won't get filled up if you are not there looking at it.) The scope
will need connected to as many as possible shutdown circuit points to start
ruling out areas hopefully 7 at a time.
