I am in need of a repair tip on the HP 8100 Printer AC power supply.
It is # rg5-4300-000 Got several dead ones here.

What is the mode of failure? Does it emit any sounds? A periodic tweet
or click? Any initial inspection/testing?
Throw us a bone here..
If you can't repair them yourself, there are several suppliers of HP
parts that offer a discounted exchange price. You get a working power
supply, they want the defective one. Everyone wins.
