I am looking for someone to build to tell me where I can purchase a little
device that will shut down the current to an item if the voltage of a car
battery drops below 11 volts.

And it is fairly unusual to find a manufacturer these days who is
prepared to post full schematics of thier products for all to use.

Most of my units get sold to techs who like to know the details
and be confident that they can repair where necessary, although
we try and make sure that the problems are basically non-existant.

For instance, we have sold over a 1,000 of our microphones up to
now and have had just 5 "warranty" claims. 3 were caused by reverse
polarity connection(!), 1 was a Piezo buzzer that died after about 3
years and the fifth was a mic insert that died. Consequently we run
a very lax warranty service where (up to now) we haven't charged
anybody anything - not even for return postage!

It all makes for good PR.
