I have a Nec FS-5111 that just has a horizontal line
going through the middle of it. the vertical has collapsed.
Has anyone got a quick tip/hint on a fix for this?

Dwayne.
The fault may be the vertical deflection chip.
It may have shorted.
Also a fuseable resistor that supplies
power to this chip may be open.

I do not have a schematic, so I cannot help more than this.
I hope you know what you are doing, if not, please leave the job
for someone who does.
Good luck,
Russell.

thanks Russell

i would of loved to get a schematic on her.
but ill pull it out of the corner and have a look at it..
you know, one of those jobs you put off for months
hehehe
