ncvlog error using AMS Simulator

Hi,
I am learning AMS simulator. But when running a file (runBehavioral)
from the sample, I got the errors below.
ncvlog: v03.40.(s009): (c) Copyright 1995 - 2002 Cadence Design
Systems, Inc.
ncvlog: *F,BADOPT: unknown or ambiguous options (-ams).

Now I use Cadence 4.46. I am not quite sure all the setup for this
kind of simulation. If you know the answer for the error, pls drop me
a line. Thx.

You dont have to make any changes to the setup. I have used this
sample tutorial. I dint have any problems. Just copy the gz file to
your "work" directory and then gunzip and tar it as is given in the
readme file. It should be ready to work with right away.

regards,
Vineet.

Hi,
I have the same problems when running ncvlog. have you find a possible
solution? (sorry for my english)
In the original posting, the user was running version 3.4. It appears that
this option was first added to NC-Verilog in version 4.0. You may want to
check what version you are using.

Verilog-AMS may have been available before then, but released as separate
executables from the normal digital NC-Verilog executables. In other words,
there would have been separate software tools for Verilog and Verilog-AMS.
The separate Verilog-AMS tool set may have used different version numbering.
I don't know.

Besides when i write a module in verilogams from icfb library manager , I
have another error a window say to me to find another ncvlog executable
command. thanks
Sorry, but I don't know anything about this icfb library manager. From what
you say about the error, it sounds like the ncvlog executable you are using
may not be able to compile Verilog-AMS.

Thanks for your answer,I have 3.4 version of ncvLog I think that it's
impossible to compile a VerilogAMS module.
There was no -ams option in ncvlog version 3.4.

It's also possible to make modules in verilogA with analog input and
digital output(to interface with verilog HDL module)? THANKS A LOT!!!!
I don't know much about analog simulation. I believe that the Spectre
analog simulator provided ways to interface Spice and VerilogA models
to digital simulation, but they were not as convenient or flexible as
with Verilog-AMS.

Hi,
I have a little problem with the verilog-mixed simulation, is it possible
to modify the logic level in verilogHDL with some declaration in the code?
I have seen
that in the SpectreVerilog simulation the logic level of the gates are
5V,
Is it possible to modify this value? thanks I'm waiting an answer!!thanks
a lot!
It seems sensible that there would be a way to do this, but I wouldn't
have any idea how. The best advice I can give is to consult your
documentation.
