NC-Verilog and vpi_flush()

NC-Verilog does not implement the vpi_flush() routine from 1364-2001.
Is there a known word-around for this issue?

Oh, did I forget to mention vpi_mcd_flush() is not implemented either.

It appears that these were added in version 5.4. I don't know why
they were not added earlier, since $fflush was supported long ago.
