Heya, I had a motherboard blow out a few months back due to bad
capacitors on my GA-7VRX.

Lots of the caps bulged and I will be trying to replace them, but also a
Mosfet(?) exploded and I want to replace it too but I can not work out
which part is the equivalent to buy. I am probably going to order them
online from Jaycar.com.au

So if anyone can tell me what this is I would be very pleased.

I put other pics of the motherboard here

Thanks.

** This is the part:
http://www.alldatasheet.co.kr/datasheet-pdf/pdf_kor/MOTOROLA/MTB1306.html

The IRL2203NS from Farnell seems to be close with slightly higher specs
( 30 volts, 116 amps, Vgs th 2 volts)

I am probably going to order them
online from Jaycar.com.au

** Lotsa luck.

Phils right - you won't find the caps - they are a special size etc +
forget about fixing the board - it is stuffed!!!

The original part is obsolete. This is the datasheet:
http://www.onsemi.com/pub/Collateral/MTB1306-D.PDF

This is ON Semi's suggested replacement (NTB75N03L09):
http://www.onsemi.com/pub/Collateral/NTP75N03L09-D.PDF

Newark (Farnell's partner in the US) stock the replacement MOSFET:
http://www.newark.com/NewarkWebCommerce/newark/en_US/endecaSearch/partDetail.jsp?SKU=75C4504&N=0
Newark InOne Part No.: 75C4504
Manufacturer Part No.: NTB75N03L09
Minimum Order Quantity: 1
Price Per Unit: $2.23

I tried Farnell's Australian website, but the searches are painfully
slow. BTW, the abovementioned MOSFETs are "logic level" types.
