...Pentagon reveals.

The U.S. government has officially started to explain some of the most infamous UFO encounters of the last decade, with China and weather balloons as top offenders.

Several UAP (unidentified aerial phenomena) incidents have been officially identified as \"relatively ordinary\" Chinese surveillance drones, the anonymous officials said. China has previously stolen plans for advanced U.S. fighter planes, and is interested in how the U.S. trains its pilots, the DoD officials added.

Wonder how did China manage to steal plans for advanced fighter planes?

Makes no difference, they won\'t be able to fly them.

Too bad for all the sad lunatics of this world.

They\'re still hiding the bodies of the Martians who crashed in Roswell half century ago.

And not saying a word about all the abductions of those highly credible people...

This guy was a real piece of work. Claimed he had unfettered access to a
UFO and could describe all sorts of stuff in detail, but the details of
the power supply and warp drive and all that were plenty hazy.

All that time and you didn\'t even trace out some schematics? Like you
had one job, man.

Weather balloons make up a high proportion of the common reports.
Conjunctions of the brighter planets come a close second. Venus &
Jupiter close together in the early evening sky for instance.

Same in the early morning doesn\'t garner anything like as much attention.

In the old days it was the limitations of classical film chemistry and
hand held photography. Fast film back then was Tri-X grainy as hell and
at a push could be processed to 1600ASA. Normal slide film was between
25ASA for Kodachrome and 200ASA for Ektachrome. Lenses were slower too.

Today there are digital cameras with effective 32000 ASA and as much
resolution but more noise as when they are operating normally. If an
actual UFO was photographed or videoed today it would not be fuzzy
unless the person with the camera was so excited that they couldn\'t hold
the camera steady (which happens a lot with bright fireballs).

Why there is no sonic boom ever from a UFO. Water in the lens does
not make boom. Neither some optical effect from a distant sun light.

Most but not quite all UFO\'s seen by the public have trivial
explanations as weather balloons and common astronomical phenomena that
can be predicted in advance. Last night for instance very bright planet
Jupiter was close to the Moon and visibly moving relative to it
(actually it is the moon doing the moving). People phone that sort of
thing in with very large amounts of imagination added.

The most impressive one for false sightings of UFO\'s is a Venus to
Jupiter conjunction in the early evening. There was one in the 1970\'s
and again in 2015

https://uwmadscience.news.wisc.edu/astronomy/jupiter-and-venus-dance-in-the-sky/

Seeing them moving relative to each other and so very bright is somewhat
disconcerting if you don\'t know what they are. The ancients quite
reasonably described the planets as wandering stars.
