Forget trains, here are some teslas —
The Boring Company will dig a 68-mile tunnel network under Las Vegas
Other municipalities might have soured on Musk\'s tunnels, but Las Vegas hasn\'t.

There\'s already tunnels of people under Las Vegas:

There was a young lady named Bright Whose speed was far faster than light;
She set out one day In a relative way And returned on the previous night.

It\'s not a \'hyperloop.\' It\'s a minimal, probably poor specified, low-ball budget proposal that will use \'just regular Teslas with human drivers.\'

City mayor has concerns \" Mayor Carolyn Goldman had a litany of concerns, including safety, low throughput of passengers, and a lack of accessibility.\" She\'s right about that. It\'s a chump tunnel to be used to shuttle a few passengers to some hotels in the city, it\'s not one iota of a mass transit system, and it most likely will not be a cheap fare.

Musk\'s idea for the hyperloop \"...perhaps taking inspiration from Mad Magazine or the Usborne Book of the Future,\" -which would be about right for that joke.

Don\'t expect this kluge to become a world wonder.

Danke,

Also drugs users and homeless in underground... almost everywhere?
As \'merrica now is rated only AA+ ... nobody should buy their debt, sell it while you can...
back to wigwams and wood fires ..
Very very green, the greens would love it, if they had not cold feet fear.

Been a while since I was in Vegas, and tried to pay with counterfeit money...
That is an other story all together, did I sleep under the open sky there?
No I think not there, came from Miami, took a bus from Vegas to LA IIRC. or was it Chicago?
Its a different life!
Travelled almost everywhere in the US, some with a Volkswagen bus and a group of people,
find a place .. camp out in the wild...
What I have seen.
And the streets of London...
https://www.mylondon.news/news/full-list-how-many-homeless-27217981

Things will only get worse with so many fugitives and no houses being build as building causes CO2 ...

An a-technical generation manipulated by CO2 fear generating media.. trying to sell everybody
a new \'lectric car... that will fail in the next big solar storm or the next high altitude nuke attack
or just because the power lines break or there is no wind and some volcano removes the sun from their solar panels.

We really need power generating and transport diversity to persist a species.
Lock them green fanatics up in a re-education camp.

It\'s just primitive. The greens are - in reality - just as interested as the rest of us in luxuries ceap energy can buy, but they havbe enough sense to realise that soalr cells and wind turbines supply energy more cheaply than any other source, and don\'t mess up the climate by feeding loads of CO2 into the atmosphere.

The proposition that greens want to live in wigwams is just climate change denial propaganda - thye want to spread the idea that the only way you can get energy is by burning fossil carbon, which is obviously absurd, but the people stupid enough to swallow climate change denial propaganda are too stupid to notice the adsurdity.

It does at the moment, but doesn\'t have to, and won\'t in the future.

Why should an electric car fail in the next solar storm. The most recent storm fierce enough to do something like that was the Carrington event in 1859

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrington_Event

We\'ve got rather better lightning protection these days - and no, it wasn\'t lighting, just big currents induced by events going on even higher up.
You needed long leads to get much current, and electric cars are rather too compact to be directly affected.

> We really need power generating and transport diversity to persist a species.

But we probably need to scrub burning fossil carbon from our list of potential energy sources. The long term side effects are nasty
> Lock them green fanatics up in a re-education camp.

Jan Panteltje doesn\'t seem to have had enough education. He probably ought to be locked up in a primary education camp, but since he has failed to get educated after some seventy years now, it would be a waste of effort.
