Monitor Fuzzy

I have a Dell M990 which seems sort of "out of focus". I run it at pretty
high res (1600x1200) but I get the same effect at 1024x768. I am using it in
a dual monitor setup and when I switch the two signals so the bad monitor is
on the other video card, the same monitor is still bad, so I know it's not
the card.
Is there a way to focus a monitor?
Thanks.

This is usually a sign of the CRT going weak, or a high voltage problem. On
the back of the flyback in most monitors is the focus control and the screen
control. Some models have 2 focus pots. Don't touch the screen control. If
it is a 2 focus type, there will be an H and V axis focus pot. If it a
single, then it is a bit easier to do.

If you have to move the focus pot, there is a fault condition. If there is
enough range to bring the pix into focus again, this may only be a temporary
fix.
