Monitor Compaq 476

Hello
I have a Compaq 476 monitor for repair, it has to much horizontal scan. It
has lots of line fold over the picture is tracing back in on its self.

An help would be very grateful.

Too much H scan? is this when you feed an image to it or not?

Yes that right. The image scans back in on itself, almost all the way
towards the centre of the screen.

First check to see if the H sync pin on the 15pin connector is loose,
damaged, or broken from the board.
