Modifying a speaker switch(selector)

Hi,

Anyone here have any clue how you would go about making a push button
speaker selector (e.g.
http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=300-608 ) and
modify it so that it could be controlled from a PC?

I'd like to, perhaps by serial port, be able to chose which speaker buttons
are "pushed".

I'd like to know how they do this "Impedance correction" stuff - but without

more information, the best I could suggest is a bank of 6 solenoids to push
the buttons for you.

Can you get a schematic?

Looks like 3 ohms inserted in series
