Guest
hello all,
i am new to this tool so please don't mind simple questions. i am
using IC 4.4.5. when i am selecting any device from analogLib and
netlisting & running in analog environment error appears that "
Instance M0/D0.. model file missing".
i know that there is a setup for model libraries in analog artist. but
the problem is where to find those files. we donot have design kit
like NCSU etc.

meshgr:

You can put model information in an ASCII file, and then use the setup
simulation command to "include" that file. For the cadence simulator,
SPECTRE, the model statement is very similar to a SPICE deck model
statement: there are just some minor differences in the syntax. You can
find example model files in the "specture models" documentation, which you
can cut and paste into a text file. With that file included, the simulation
will run.
You can modify standard SPICE model statements to use with SPECTRE with a
text editor. Lots of example model files can be found on the web.
