Hi Guys
I have an oldish (1996) Mitsubishi monitor (17") which has served well for 7
years. It has now got a little fault. Under normal operation, Windows PC
running at 1280x1024@75Hz (79.7kHz line rate, 240v-UK), everything is fine.
When I drop the refresh rate (like when the PC is booting) then it looks as
though it looses horizontal sync. You can still make out that there is an
image being displayed but it is rapidly slipping left<>right. I have done a
google for a service manual, but none found yet. If anyone has some useful
info (service manual, probable cause) then I'd be very grateful. I've had a
quick look inside for obvious damage (bad caps) but nothing found. In fact,
it is virtually dust free!
Thanks.
