Hi everybody,

I wonder about the consumption of hardware ressources when
using memory initialization files (hex or mif) in Altera QuartusII.
Are there any differences between mif and hex
with regard to consumption ? Do they need extra hardware ressources
at all?

Thank you in advance

Andre

There is no difference in the hardware resources used. You can convert
easily between the mif and hex files using the Quartus memory editor and
check it out.
