I've got a microwave oven that has eaten part of its foil ribbon
connector between the circuit board and the front touch panel. I have
been looking around for a replacement but I haven't had any luck as of
yet so maybe someone out there can help me. I know this used to be
available for $28 (Canadian) but the place I called said that he
couldn't get one any more. The microwave is a Panasonic Dimension 4
model number NN-9507 (microwave and convection type). If someone out
there might point me in the right direction to get a replacement I would
be very grateful. Or if someone knows of a way to repair the foil ribbon
that might help too. Thanks in advance.

What do you mean by "eaten"? Are all the conductors bad or just a few?
Sometimes you can just solder point-point to fix these.

If repair doesn't work, you might also try an appliance junk yard. The ones
around here handle washers, dryers, stoves, microwaves, etc.
