Does anyone know where I can find a schematic of the controller in an
Amana microwave oven?

The controller is made by Robert Shaw and the model may be LR51702.
It was made about 1987.

Thanks.

It likely doesn't exist, and shouldn't be nessesary anyway, what's the
problem you're having?

The schematic probably was never available as the replacement part was the
entire controller board, as with almost all appliances.

James,

There is a relay in the primary circuit of the HV transformer that has
its coil voltage supplied by the control card. The relay coil has
continuity, but no voltage across it.

The timer runs and displays the time, and it even beeps when the time
is finished, but the relay never gets coil voltage.

There is nothing obviously burnt on the circuit board and the parts
I've checked seem OK.

Regards,

John
