Another totally newbie question. I'm looking to make a led-type
display where all the little lights are controlled from a computer,
The amount of Lights (at least 6*6) seem to indicate that I need a
microcontroller to controlled them all, are there any good resources,
sites out there where I can read up on something like this???
Cheers

It depends a great deal on what you want these lights to do..... Are you
making an alphanumeric display of some sort? Stop lights for a car? Both
could require lots of LEDs, but their control requirements are vastly
different.

If you need to do a project with a micro, what other things are going on?
There are some very simple micros available, and some very sophisticated
ones......

So.... a little more information might be useful.
