She had some truly killer heels.
A 44-year-old woman fatally stabbed her boyfriend in the head with her
stiletto heels in a luxury Houston high-rise, according to Houston police.
Ana Lilia Trujillo is facing murder charges.
According to Houston Police Department spokesman Kese Smith, police
responded to an assault-in-progress at about 3:50 a.m. Sunday at The
Parklane condominium, an opulent high-rise in the citys upscale Museum
District.
Trujillo answered the door of her apartment, Unit #18B, for responding
officers and proceeded to show them the body of a 59-year-old man lying
on a hallway floor between the entryway and the kitchen. The man was
pronounced dead at the scene after receiving multiple wounds to the head.
Police said Trujillo was the victims girlfriend and the only other
person at the scene when police arrived. She was detained for
questioning and charged with murder Monday morning.
The name of the victim has not yet been released pending notification by
his next of kin.
Brian Wice, a former renter of #18B at 1701 Hermann Drive, said he was
stunned that a man his age was murdered in his old condo.
It had a beautiful view and wonderful security, Wice told the Houston
Chronicle. It was a great place to live.
