I am trying to substitute the ISE foundations editor for the Mentor
one, as I believe is more complete and give better results at the
synthesis process. The only problem is (and I am stucked here at the
moment): how to transfer the Xilinx libraries from ISE foundations to
the Mentor Graphics editor???
Does anybody know how to do it?

You will do a nice substitution.
The HDL Designer is the best graphical tool for all HDL design, I never
use. You will save many times in the HDL reuse !

Do you want to transfer you own VHDL or Verilog libs, or do you want to
transfer Xilinx lib like unisim?

For your own VHDL, you just have to do an 'HDL import' and to follow the
intructions. You will have to rework the symbols !

For unisim, do not import but create your own component, and map your
new component with the corresponding unisim component.
