memory box for a JVC AV-S250EKT

Hi,

Does anyone know if the "memory box" for the above very old JVC television
is still available anywhere. My friend told me that this is the part that
store the pre-set channel frequencies. Does it perhaps goby another name?
any info greatly appreciated,
