I am looking for an inexpensive medium power (P1dB >= 30 dBm)
transistor for use in microwave power amplifier for a project our
company is considering bidding on. The project is a point to
multipoint 7.5-8.5 GHz (the whole spectrum) wireless broadband access
device, and we would need to produce terminals for end users at very
low cost.
I so far have not been successful at finding much below the $20/Qty.
100 price point that can meet these restrictions. Ideally it would be
a part that came in a 30dBm, 33dBm and 36dBm variety.
At this point I'm just looking for budgetary pricing to determine
feasibility of doing the project.
Can anyone out there suggest approximate pricing and a part# that I
should investigate? Given the preliminary nature of this I'm not real
picky about specifics at the moment. I just want to find out if it can
be done within the budget constraints.
Thanks for any assistance with this.
